Born into a family of professional Coaches and Teachers, Anne’s love for educating and guiding others seems almost a given. Her Father, a school sports coach for 32 years, taught her the meaning of integrity, teamwork, and personal responsibility. Her Mother, who taught math, English, Spanish, Physical Ed, and science, educated Anne on the fine art of analyzing one’s options and listening to the points of view of others. Her Grandmother, a dancer on Broadway during the glorious 30’s and 40’s taught Anne how to pivot on two, twirl, and return on four.
Professionally speaking, Anne’s career spans over 15 years in the sales and marketing of software technology for industry giants Executrain Software Training Corp, and Microsoft Corporation. While at Microsoft, she pioneered the Microsoft Matchmaker Program in 2001, a program which connects Microsoft Partners across the United States and Canada, to work together in order to create custom solutions for customers.
Anne’s Academic report card is equally impressive. She received a B.A. in Communications, from Arizona State University; she is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and a Certified Executive Leadership Trainer through Pursuit of Excellence, Inc, specializing in “Improving Performance & Results”.
Making time for serving her community, Anne is a member of Women in Technology, Junior League of Dallas, IAMCP (International Association Microsoft Certified Professionals), and Delta Gamma, Southern Methodist University Chapter.
When she considers her place and value to society, Anne believes it is critical to become involved, to give your time and volunteer wherever needed. Making the most out of life each day, Anne recommends “living on the dash,” which is the hyphen which separates the year of one’s birth and the year of death on a tombstone. She does this by finding the humor in all situations, laughing, connecting with others, and serving with compassion. She also enjoys Jazz music, live theatre, cycling, playing Polo, floral arranging, Fine Art, and cooking.
“Develop passion through experience, be a part of team working toward similar initiatives, and have fun doing it!”
